Procedure to help people raise their awareness of their thinking

1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes.

2. Make a list of recurring negative thoughts which are currently in your life.

3. Work on one thought at a time.

4. Allow yourself to focus on that thought.

5. At the same time, using all fingertips of your dominant hand, tap the back of the top of your head (ie. The back portion of a central parting)

6. Continue tapping for 5 minutes.

7. Repeat steps 4 – 6 with each negative thought.
